HONKY TONK ANGELS at Capital Repertory Theatre
Giving this swing thing a try and dance captaining 3 fierce women! See you at theREP this summer!
Direction: Gary John La Rosa
Musical Direction: Mark Galinovsky
The creator of “Always…Patsy Cline” brings to life “Honky Tonk Angels,” a musical celebration of the female stars of country. This charming, foot-stompin’ musical mixes 30 classic country tunes into a hilarious story about three gutsy gals who are determined to better their lives and follow their dreams to Nashville to become the Honky Tonk Angels.

HAPPY SPOOKY SEASON!
RSO and Very Intensive Productions are pleased to announce the release of Future Demons, an album of songs based on tales by acclaimed 1950s psychological horror author Shirley Jackson, composed by Ryan Scott Oliver with words by Jackson and Oliver. The new recording is available now (October 9) via Spotify, Apple Music, and all streaming platforms.
Jackson’s work was the basis of the hit Netflix series The Haunting of Hill House and the classic Robert Wise-directed film The Haunting. She is also the author of the iconic short story “The Lottery,” and was the subject of the recent film Shirley, executive produced by Martin Scorsese and starring Elisabeth Moss.
Future Demons will feature an impressive line-up of theater stars including (in alphabetical order) Kerstin Anderson, Britney Coleman, Jessie Hooker-Bailey, Victoria Huston-Elem, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Gerianne Perez, Catherine Ricafort, and Heathcliff Saunders — with Allie Boyle, Nicole DeLuca, Caitlin Doak, Samantha Ferrara, Alina Fontanilla, Adam Magnacca, Liam Joshua Munn, Kim Onah, Chloe Savit, Andreas Schmidt, Byron Turk, and Nicole Zelka.
The Band features Joshua Zecher-Ross on synths, keyboards and auxiliary instrruments, Felix Herbst on violins, Allison Seidner and David Tangney on cello, Andrew Zinsmeister on guitars, banjo and mandolin, Joseph Wallace on bass, and Joshua Samuels and Gary Seligson on drums/percussion. The album is produced by Zecher-Ross and Oliver (JZRSO Studios), and orchestrations by RSO.
Closing The World of Pure Imagination... For Now
Tonight, we would have closed "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" in Tulsa, OK. I decided to have everyone send me a selfie since we never got a full company shot (we're missing a few friends, but this is our big old traveling family!) March 12th, Charlie played its final performance in Grand Rapids, MI without anyone knowing what would happen next. This company didn't get as much time as we expected together, but I truly would not change this experience for the world and I cross my fingers every day that I get to reunite with them when the factory gates reopen with more "wonder" than EVER. VERY special shoutout to Matt Lenz, Ali Solomon, Nate Patten, Natalie Malotke, Anthony Daniel, Jack O’Brien, Joshua Bergasse, Stewart/Whitley Casting, and NETworks Productions for putting this crew together because DAMN this is a special bunch.

My Cindy Journey Comes To A Close...
10 months. 214 performances. 88 cities. 36 states. I am forever thankful to our creatives, cast, crew, and the Work Light family for making this journey one I will never forget. Making my National Tour debut at 20 was terrifying, but the amount I’ve learned from every person in this company, good and bad, has forever changed me as a performer and person. Spreading kindness for a living will be something I am forever grateful to have been a part of, and something our world needs now more than ever.
“Now go, with the promise of possibility!”
Thanks Cindy!
